This information is basically to emphasize points I make in the Disclaimer and the Reason for this Site pages.

I and others write reviews of the web sites and treatments which can be found on this site in the Treatment and Information Categories. These reviews represent our opinions, backed up, where appropriate, with links to relevant references. Again, these represent opinions, and not suggestions to use anything mentioned here. In fact, in some cases, I will specifically suggest avoiding certain treatments, as they appear to be nothing but money-makers for the manufacturers. As always, however, consult a qualified doctor or dermatologist when making these types of treatment decisions.

The links that are identified as 'reviewed' under the main sections will not link to the sites under consideration, but link instead to the reviews available here. Links to the sites themselves can be found in the review pages.
