Stress

Stress is a known, but far from universal, trigger and/or exacerbator of psoriasis. There are some who seem to think that the disease is caused solely by stress, and advocate relaxtion or stress-reduction techniques as a lone treatment to eliminate the disease. Psoriasis is not typically caused by stress alone, and while removal of stressors may make treatment more effective, it is not generally successful by itself.
